See the Lord your God has placed the land before you, go up, take possession...Do not fear or be dismayed. Deut. 1:21 (NASB)
What is your worst fear as you pursue your dream? Is it the fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of changes, fear of the unknown, fear of being criticised? Is it the fear of having to stand alone, fear of internal inadequacies, fear of loosing your comfort zone. Fear of interacting with people, fear of being judged, fear of what people might think, or the fear of disappointment. Can you relate with any of these fears at one point or the other in your life?
Fear in the absence of real threat can be paralysing. It can restrict the full manifestation of your potential. When you're held down by fear, your courage is at its lowest level which prevents you from being productive. Fear can be enslaving. The more you dwell on it, the more fearful you become and the more energy is lost to it. Fear prevents you from visualising a life of possibilities and recognising opportunities.
Most of the fears that keep us from pursuing the life of our dream only resides in our imagination. Isn't it baffling how we personally hold ourselves back from living fulfilled lives by what we create with our imagination. If we could channel this creative ability into positive use, then we can envision ourselves receiving help on our goals.
Fear conditions our mind to expect negative turn outs so that what we fear eventually becomes real. Fear opposes faith in our lives, if you must attain your goals, you have to trust the one who planted the dream in you. His says to you this morning, "do not fear"
Today's Action Plan:
• Act on one of the things that caused you fear before now, as you take steps courage will grow in you.
• Dispel thoughts of fear and doubt and cultivate an habit for positive thinking.
Remember, you get what you expect, begin to expect success in your life endeavours.
Thanks and do enjoy a life of faith as you flourish into the future.
