5 Steps To Flourish Where You Are

Where are you now on the journey to creating your desired future? Do you feel stuck and want to experience some progress so you can flourish where you are, doing what you like and fulfilling your deepest yearning?  

Here are 5 steps to flourish where you are:  

Become Aware: its comfortable living in denial of the true situation of things as this puts less pressure on your responsibility for creating the life you want but the truth is facing the reality of things is a step to becoming better. Know the truth about your current situation, accept the truth and determine what steps are required to kick start your transformation.  

Be committed. Having determined the steps you need to take towards a change in your story, commit to them by embracing discipline. There's something about the comfort zones of our lives that tends to pull us into complacent living but through discipline you can remain committed to those changes as you watch your life make significant improvements.  

Become accountable. Sometimes staying committed to some goal can be difficult especially when you have to be stretched to achieve it. It can be helpful having someone to keep tab on your progress. Someone who understands your goals and the steps you've set to get there, who'll support you and help you align with your decisions. Having an accountability partner can be in any area of your life that you want to experience significant growth.  

Keep your desires up. You deserve to be happy, you deserve the best life, you deserve every good thing you've ever admired in life. Don't ever believe you don't deserve some great stuff because of your past, don't equate your longing for some fun to selfishness. You're a wonderful person, sacrificing so much to impact those around you, you equally deserve to be impacted positively. What do you desire, a vacation, a spa, a nice treat, a family picnic, a movie, a dance? Whatever it is, keep desiring the best and your life will begin to attract the best experiences you would ever have.  

Focus on the end result. Occasional set back do occur when we try to push ourselves out from being stuck. When you experience such, don't give in to the negative feelings but remind yourself what you're out to achieve. Disappointments in some cases happen to help us measure our passion and believe in what we're doing. If you're passionate about a course, you'll persevere through the challenges.  

At that point when you feel your life is a routine and you would like to open yourself to some great opportunities to be happy and fulfilled then you may need to revert to these steps.
