Devotion: It's Never Too Late To Live Your Dream

Anyone who is among the living has hope.... Eccl. 9:4 (NIV)  

Are you often reminded of a past desire you've discarded each time you see someone excel in that area? Almost everyone has a suppressed unfulfilled desire lying dormant within her. Some of us have successfully packed up our dreams and are now living someone else's dream because we were told our dreams sounded ridiculous and therefore is impossible to achieve. Are you in this group of persons who have been told their dream can't happen. Have you become conditioned to accepting the lie that you're incapable of achieving your own dream.  

Remember Joseph in the Bible, his family doubted his dream because they didn't have the capacity to handle his destiny.

Always remember your time is an important asset in fulfilling your dream, invest it wisely. Many have ended up where they never planned to be all because they gave their power of choice to someone else. Many have given power to those who are undeserving to determine how life turns out for them. They live and thrive only by others' approval and validation, if its missing nothing else inspires them to move.  

To truly live a fulfilled life, you have to follow your own desires and live your own dream. Some were influenced by their parents to abandon their dreams and pursue their parents desires. Though, people see them as successful today, deep within, they live in emptiness. Deep within, something keeps stirring in them, begging for expression and fulfilment.  

What talents have you neglected because you had to live another person's dream? Its time to pick it up from where you left off and start dreaming afresh. Maybe you're the one holding back yourself since no one has ever done what you have in mind and with that you're having difficulty pushing it out for fear of looking stupid. Its time to follow your heart and live your dream. No matter how long you've been busy chasing something else dream, its never too late to live your own dream. There's hope for the manifestation of your dream as long as you're living.

• Dig deep into your inner being and unlock your hidden desires, that is your dream, LIVE IT.
