Stand Out and Be Outstanding

Are you insecure about your identity in God and caught up in the mold of another person's life, personality and pursuit? Are you afraid of taking initiative and exploring your own uniqueness as an individual for fear of criticism?

The world is full of nobody(s) because of so many photocopies because people have refused to take bold steps that stand them out. The society itself isn't helping as it accepts and celebrates mediocrity, but you must resolve to raise the bar for yourself and be different.

We are all born unique but as we grow older, the society we find ourselves in begins to shape our thinking and perception about ourselves as it dictates what true success means and tries to mould our lives and pattern it after their own image and we gradually loose touch with our own unique qualities and strengths that make us who we originally are. This is where the importance of  parents' involvement in a child's development comes in. As a parent, it is your responsibility to discover your child's capabilities and encourage him to explore these strengths for the fulfillment of his purpose and not your own. Purpose isn't handed down to us at a certain age but deposited in us from the womb, Jer.1:5, "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.....and ordained you a prophet to the nations." The personality and self esteem required to fulfill our purpose is developed as we grow and this is greatly influenced by our parents, siblings, environment, education, experiences and exposure. Therefore, every parent needs to protect her child from destiny destroyers and confusers.

You need to embrace your personality the way you're made and develop courage to challenge and overcome your feelings of insecurity so you can go on to be who God created you to be. You can't be a people pleaser and be outstanding, neither can you experience happiness and fulfilment in trying to conform to someone else's image. Don't feed your motivation on people's applaud and expect to make a headway in creating an identity for yourself, when you make this your pursuit, you loose your self worth and become an object of manipulation as you are controlled by the opinion of others.

To be different you need to get ahead of others by thinking outside the box. Your mind has to be empowered and activated to produce richer thoughts that influence your decisions. The richer your thoughts, the better your decisions and the richer the resources it will attract to you so you can lead the life you so desire. The key is focusing on developing habits that would change your thoughts. One of such habits is reading. Reading broadens your mind, exercises your brain and builds your person from within.

Another important key is leveraging on the power of the anointing and revelation. 1Jn.2:20: But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. You can't be anointed and be led by revelation and flow with the crowd. The anointing announces you while revelation elevates you and helps you stay at the top of your game because what you know sets you apart and gives you an edge over others. Revelation also prepares you for greater results by providing answers to both your present and future challenges. Its like one who has seen the answer leak to an examination. Every good product in the market has its seal of quality, you're a product of God's creation and He has placed upon you a quality seal to distinguish you in the market place.

Its an aggressive world out there, the competition keeps getting tougher,
in career, in business, in education, even in matrimony, people are willing to do anything to get by but for you the anointing is your passport to excelling in this same world. Even when others try to copy you, you still remain on top because of the seal of originality on you. We see in our every day products and wears that there's always a marked difference between the original and the faked or copied. The original attracts higher value. •It lasts longer. •It can withstand the test to prove its originality. Do you want to attract higher value upon your life? Do you want to develop tenacity to withstand the tests and trials of trying to be outstanding? Do you want to remain firm and immovable? Then be original. Don't tow the path that is common and already working; create your own tract by submitting your weaknesses and inabilities to God, let Him transform you so you can put your potentials to use and bring it to fruition and remain OUTSTANDING.
