Devotion:The Strength of Your Desire.

Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. -  Psalm 37 (AMP)

Are you filled with specific desires concerning your future? How overwhelming are these desires? The strength of your desire determines the length of your perseverance. When your desire matches your fear, obstacles are no match to how much you want your dream because your will to win is going to produce the strength that is equal in proportion to every obstacle to be overcome.  

When there's a will, there'll always be a way. Your desire creates the way. When your desire becomes a burning passion, your will to succeed becomes unstoppable. How much you want a thing is reflected in your passion, pursuit and perseverance. The strength of your desire will always determine the size of your success. Success is created and not wished into existence, your desire fuels the power of creation in you. Desire precedes creativity. Until you become desirous, your creative ability remains untapped. Strong desires create incredible results because it refuses to give in to fear. If you lack the drive to pursue a dream, check your desire for it, it isn't that strong. When the desire for it becomes strong every excuse will be turned into executive plans.  

God wants to bring every of your desire to pass, if you delight in Him. Delighting in God requires you walking in His ways, and His ways are found in His purpose.  

To increase your desire:  

1. Get a picture either physical or mental that reminds you of your dream.  

2. Talk about it. This will get you excited and enthusiastic about your dream and increase the desire to see it manifest.  

3.  Keeping acting on smaller goals that would culminate into the bigger goal in the long run. This keeps you inspired as your mind is constantly fixed on the dream.  

Action Plan for Today:  

• Cut out a picture representation of your dream car, house, family, estate, ministry, clinic, etc.    

• Paste it on the wall of your room. Let this inspire you as it increases your desire to achieve the dream.
