For Surely there is a latter end (a future and a reward), and your hope and expectation shall not be cut off. Prov. 23:18 (AMP)
Do you expect much on purpose or do you expect something to go wrong with your plans for the day? How did you approach the task for today, with enthusiasm or with a feeling of indifference because there's really nothing to expect judging by past experiences. Do you expect something good from life today? Do you expect someone somewhere is going to favour you. Do you expect the heavens to smile down on you and on your goals?
The scripture says your hope and expectations will not be cut off. This includes when you're expectant and when you're not. It also supports both positive and negative expectations. What you expect is what you get. High expectations encourages you to pursue your dreams with ease and excitement. As you're constantly looking forward to something good coming your way. Your views to life aren't conditioned by your past failures but on renewed hopes. Your expectations will determine how you respond to obstacles on your path to fulfilling your dream. A miracle expectant heart sees obstacles as stepping stones he needs to climb to his breakthrough. When you're expectant, you believe God will turn the ugly tales of your life into a glorious story. You expect good all the time as all things are working together for GOOD.
Some blessings come in disguise, reflect back I'm certain you'll remember one of such incidences. There's always opportunities hidden in every obstacle and a gain in every pain. When the bad and the ugly happens in your life, instead of complaining, ask God what you can take out of this experience to help bring your dream closer to you.
As your expectations rise, you open the way for miracles to take place.
Doubts will filter on but always have in readiness an answer for every of your doubt. If somewhere within your mind you hear 'it can't happen', quickly throw in a counter thought, "it can happen" and "it will happen."
When you approach life and every of your goal this way, each step of faith then causes miracles to happen.
Today's Action Plan:
• You're about to embark on a journey. Sit with your eyes closed and imagine how your life would turn out if you expected the best and got the best in all areas life.
• Imagine yourself expecting help, favour, miracles and at each stage someone showed up for you.
• How does it feel having all your expectations granted?
• Adopt this attitude of expecting the best and make a confession of it. "I expect the best, with God on my side, my life is being conditioned to get the best out of every situation."
