God Is Never Late
We have time table drawn out for our desires and when things don't happen that way, we get discouraged. We expect to get married at a certain age but the right partner never shows up; we expect to have graduated and started a nice job but here we are still seeking admission; we expect healing for a loved one after praying for him but the situation seems to get worse, we expect to be financially free but instead we're neck deep in debts; we pray for a rebellious child to turn a new leave but nothing happens.
So many times with all of these and many others happening around us we feel like drowning in the situation because of how overwhelming the problem is and like the children of Israel we complain and murmur forgetting how God had appeared in the nick of time to save us in the past. Through our lives experiences when we think back we will appreciate the fact that He has always been on time and had never allowed us to be consumed by the situation. Even when we felt He tarried in showing up, His love and mercy had always sustained and strengthened us just when we needed them. There were also lessons of His faithfulness to learn from waiting through difficult times that have built us into who we are today.
God's disposition towards His children has not changed because He's the same yesterday, today and forever. He's our all-sufficient Father who is loving and caring. The scripture says, "He shall supply our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." - Phil. 4:19. He is rich enough to meet every of our needs, if there's anything you're yet to receive then its not yet time.
God who has ordained the time for the sun to shine brightly after the storm is never late but ever on time, though we may feel His promises are delayed from our human perspective but ultimately His plan will come to pass at the precise time He ordained it to happen.
