"All hail her majesty, the Queen!"

I imagine placing Esther of the bible (before she became a queen) side by side  with any of the girls you find on the street that you would naturally describe as local and see the similarities between them, un-exposed, unpopular, unwealthy, unappealing, unattractive, and uninteresting. But inside that poor local girl with all the demeaning attributes was a personality with all the strength, wisdom, grace, charm and beauty of a queen and with the capability of saving a whole race. Does the sum total of your life begin and end on how you are and where you are now? Have you wondered if you could ever accomplish anything meaningful in life due to your background? May be you've even asked yourself, "do I have the ability to carry out this vision that God has laid in my heart?", "will my dreams come true?" Maybe, to you royalty is something that can never be associated with you. Esther wasn't born into royalty, the opportunity presented itself and she worked her way into the palace because the potentials that qualified her for the position were inside her. You have within you a wealth of potential needed to take you to your position of influence, your place of reign. Prepare yourself for it, don't settle for where you are now  because you are heading somewhere; understand that life is a challenge, you've got to keep on fighting to get the best out of it, like Esther competed for the position in the palace and won.

One thing that worked for Esther was her obedience to Modecai's instructions including not revealing her identity and the bible records that she found favour. As women our strength lies in our tongue but we'll do ourselves a whole lot of good if we use it wisely. There are moments you need to be quiet and allow others talk, there's wisdom is being quiet. You understand people and know their intentions better when you allow them do the talking, sometimes the enemy plays into your hands just by the words uttered. You will encounter both physical and spiritual contentions as you make your way to the palace so you need to walk in obedience to God's instructions and thereby attract heaven's favour and backing.

In every woman lies a queen no matter your background or story, if motivated in the right direction, she can discover her true worth and go on to achieve greatness. Esther found the right motivation in Mordecai and went from being a local girl to a queen and later a deliverer of a whole race. You need to constantly be in the company of those who would challenge the greatness in you to the surface and not those who would talk down your dream because they feel threatened by the mere thought of you leaving them behind.

You need to come to the understanding that your royalty comes with a price, a responsibility to touch somebody, impact a life and save a soul. One question that should constantly be on your lips is, "Lord, what will you have me do for you", God did not bless you for you, yourself and your family alone, He blessed you so He could make your life a channel through which He can reach others. Many become selfish because of their experience with poverty forgetting they got to where they are now through someone, somebody gave you that employment that changed your story, somebody awarded that contract to you, somebody introduced you to the company you're doing business with, somebody encouraged you to go for that training that you're reaping from. Somebody did something that changed your life. What have you done to change the story of someone else not related to you?

  • A queen is also a woman of wisdom, Esther demonstrated this when she organised the banquet.

  • A queen is a woman full of compassion. Compassion moved Esther to intervene in the problem of her people.

  • A queen is a woman after God's heart. Esther knew God's purpose for her people was not destruction but life and she knew how to move the hand of God through faith.
Your royalty is not a function of your feeling, as a matter of fact, you may not feel like a queen or even look like a queen but see yourself as one because that is what God says you are. Don't fall into satan's subtle trick to cause you to second guess your identity in Christ, the bible calls us kings (queens). So I say to you today, "All hail her majesty, the Queen!" Take your rightful place in the palace where you belong and live in the confidence of who you are in Christ. Tap into the Queen's anointing in you and begin to operate on that level, stand tall, head up high and shoulder squared, and stare the devil in the face and tell him, "I know who I am in Christ, a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, God's own special girl, called to show forth His praise and that is what I am going to do, and no one, not even you can stop me." Halleluyah!
